DANCE OF ONESESS - THE 5 RHYTHEM DANCE

Inspired by 5 rhythms of movement therapy, this workshop is all about release, expression and finding oneness. 

The 5 Rhythms is a dynamic movement practice, a practice of being in your body, that ignites creativity, connection, and community.

Our body can become our wisest teacher, showing us how to dance our innermost expression of who we truly are.

The music for this dance movement therapy is curated around the 5 Rhythms, which are: 

1. Flow

2. Staccato

3. Chaos

4. Lyrical 

5. Stillness . 

These 5 rhythms are compared to the 5 stages of life, the 5 elements , the 5 senses and the 5 dimensions.

OPENING CIRCLE 

We gather together to understand the process of the  5 Rhythms, set our intentions and prepare to move into flow. 

An opening meditation that brings us into presence, connects us to our body and prepares us for the 5 Rhythms wave. 

We move through 5 Rhythms that are guided by music and words. The movement is intuitional and anything is allowed to come up, there are no rules , expect to surrender and listen to the body and allow the body to guide you. 

As we move through the flow and end at stillness we once again integrate and 

are guided into a closing meditation to ground ourselves. 

CLOSING CIRCLE 

We close the circle with sharing and receiving wisdom from each other.   

A non judgmental space is created for you so you may drop the masks and dance your inner most prayers .

FACILITATOR

NATASHA is a certified yoga therapist and founder of Anam Cara Yoga Retreats. Natasha Creates beautiful spaces and intimate gatherings, using sound, art and dance therapy in collaboration with yoga and other healing practices to offer a holistic experience out in nature.
